Jack Richardson pointed out that there is a Wikipedia page for Admiral Brownson. I checked it out and found that there is also one for each of the Destroyers named for him.
The official Navy website has posted a slideshow of the best photos of 2008. There’s some great shots there.
Thanks to Capt. Jack Richardson for pointing this out to us.
In accordance with the By-laws of our Association, President Eliff has appointed a nominating committee for the 2009 Reno reunion. Article IV-Committees, Section 3, states the following:

[note]If anyone has a good quality digital image of the Brownson, please contact me. I’d like to have a better one for the home page.[/note]
[note]I had a couple of weeks off over the holidays and decided to update the Association website. It’s not quite done yet, but I think it’s close enough for Government work. I’ll be making more changes and adding new features as I get time. The biggest addition is that the guestbook is back and this time, it’s completely in my control so I won’t hit any limits and won’t have to deal with the spam that killed the old one. Feel free to post to it. If you see any problems or errors, or have any suggestions please let me know. You can also add comments to this post below.[/note]
